Katch 'em Kill 'em

Today being another Thursday I think it is once again time for a throwback. So, being a movie review blog being non bias plays a key role. In this type of blog, I have to create reviews based on the sole quality of a film. All though this type of writing is really my goal, this posting while definitely have bias present. I just wanted to give a warning before getting into a review. The reason this may show that I am leaning towards positive reviews on this film is because it is my favorite horror film ever! This movie may be older, and may not be the coolest, but to me, it is one of the best horror films out there. Okay, so you are probably wondering what movie that I am pretty much raving about. This movie would be Amityville Horror, made in 2005, following a string of Amityville films created after the book was published in 1977. Another Ground Hog Day

So, since yesterday was my actual birthday I felt it was the perfect day to review Happy Death Day. Luckily, I didn't have to keep reliving yesterday or get murdered. Though this was not really what I would call a horror movie it was still one of the best movies I’ve seen recently. Although this movie is technically not horror I felt, since I saw it, deserves a review. This movie follows Tree Gelbman who is a blissfully self-centred collegian who wakes up on her birthday in the bed of a student named Carter. As the morning goes on, Tree gets the eerie feeling that she's experienced the events of this day before. When a masked killer suddenly takes her life in a brutal attack, she once again magically wakes up in Carter's dorm room unharmed. Now, the frightened young woman must relive the same day over and over until she figures out who murdered her.
