What is IT that scares you?

  What is IT that frightens you the most? Fear is the main component of all things horror. Whether it be a book, ghost story, movie, or even movie trailer the fear is what entices you. Every since I was a child I loved the feeling of my heart pounding while watching a movie. It gave me a sense of excitement that I would not have in daily life. Anything horror filled that void of wanting to experience pure fear. I know it sounds crazy like "Who wants to be afraid?" well I do. I always enjoy a movie that would keep me up at night, because that is a powerful thing. The ability for a fictional story to stay in my head and terrify me to the point that I just stare at the ceiling instead of sleeping. Any book, story, or movie that could do that I consistently appreciate because I am really not afraid of anything, so when something does horrify me I can appreciate it. 
  The most recent film I hoped to have given me that type of rush was the movie IT. IT is a remake of the movie from 1990, which was created from the book by Stephen King who is known for horror novels. In this post I will not be commenting on either movies or the book; that is for later.
  This is a blog where I will be reviewing movies, horror only, I will also compare remakes to the original. If there is a book I will also do comparisons to the book. Another part will be comparing the trailer to the movie plus to each other. Lastly, I will be posting ghost stories then reviewing those as well. 
So, I hope you enjoy this blog and at points, it frightens you because it is a blog that is full of boo's.

    I really liked your title! It grabbed my attention and how it was a pun for the text. I also liked how you gave background on how you became so fond of horror movies!

This is a movie that I would definitely see again. I was unsure of what to expect going into the theater, but I was pleasantly surprised. On an isolated stretch of land 50 miles outside of San Francisco sits one of the country's most beautiful mansions. Built by Sarah Winchester, heiress to the Winchester fortune, it is a house that knows no end. Constructed in an incessant twenty-four hour a day, seven day a week mania for decades, it stands seven stories tall and contains hundreds of rooms. This should wake you up

Me being a major fan of the second Amityville film, when I first saw a trailer for this movie I could not wait to see it. Then the release dates were mixed up because the first trailer said it would be released January 2015, then it was pushed until April 2016, then January of 2017 then was finally released in June of 2017. Unfortunately, it had a silent release into Google Play, then had a week-long showing in select theatre in New York. So, I thought seeing this film would never happen, except for maybe streaming it on some website. Then, one day I came across it while looking for a movie to rent in one of those Redbox machines at the store. My dreams of wanting to see the film had come true.
